Goose and Yellow

Kamasan B405 #14, Pearsall's yellow, well waxed, Canada goose herl, spiralled, fine copper rib, magpie scalp hackle.

This goose herl is proving more resilient than I thought it would - on the goose and orange / March brown variant, it must have had 10+ fish and the fly is still going strong!

First time I've used magpie scalp, and i like the look of it. It's very soft and I imagine it should move very well in the water. Biggest concern is that it might be a bit too delicate - not sure how it will stand up to fishing... we'll see.

That'll get 'em.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
