Medium Dark Olive for the spider swap.

This is the hen saddle for the wing and the hackle.

The barb is flat and the eye of the hook is straight. The hook is a Kamasan B175 #14.

The feather is prepared

The thread is on the hook( sheer 14/0 claret)

Feather on the hook.

The body is made the dubbing is hare with a bit of squirrel.

Hackle is turned and the wing is set upright.

Fly is ready.

Very nice Ruard. It is a great tutorial to see. It is a technique I have long used and don't use enough.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

I did make a mistake: MDL must be MDO , but I cannot edit this thread anymore :evil: :twisted:
