Found these photos when doing a search for something completely different.
They look as if tied in the hand a couple of hundred years ago and then put in a modern vice for the photo. I don't speak the language but provide the link to those who do.

That was quite interesting! They look like Stewarts (Baillies) spiders for sure on blind eye hooks! Thanks for bringing this to us! I hit the translate button at the top of the page and that was different!
