Beautiful fly, as is usual for your posts, what I find interesting
is the darker tone of the base of the hackle. The rib is a nice
touch too. Thanks for your daily additions to the forum.

Thanks Hank. Only had well-marked badger hackle in larger sizes, hence the bigger iron here; it does make for an interesting effect.
