Dreamy Ray and oh, so beautiful! Your Tenkara patterns are to die for! It is time to get out my Tenkara rod and go a-fishin'! Thanks for the inspiration!

Don't know how to say "Perfection" in Japanese, but this fly is it.

Simple yet elegant! tie2fish please elaborate on your comment. A critique of this fly would help this humble beginner, I appreciate your expertise, thanks!

Catskiller9 ~ "Kebari" and "Tenkara" are words associated with a type/style of soft hackle fly traditionally used for fishing in small, swift streams in Japan. Hence the reference to "Japanese" in my comment about Letumgo's fly. Nothing profound here -- I was simply trying to avoid the same-old, same-old way to express my admiration for the design and execution of this unique pattern.

Now, as a cat lover I would ask that you elaborate on your screen name ;) .

Ray,

I love the pattern! 8-)

Do the hi vis fiber splay back against the hackle in current or on a retrieve?

Very cool...

Looking at it I would've thought there was CDC incorporated into the construction but, that's just a nice cape. Well done.

That isn't to say a turn of CDC wouldn't hurt.

I have been tinkering with these flies for about a year now. They look different but they catch fish like crazy. Yours my friend will do the trick.
