Hook - Mustad 3906 (short shank wet fly hook/size 12)
Thread - 8/0 UNI-Thread (Olive Dun)
Hackle - Herbert Miner Hen Neck Hackle (Medium Brown Dun)
Body - Five Strands of Pheasant Tail Fibers (Natural Brown)
Variation of a Stewarts Spider, with pheasant tail body and palmered dun hackle. Simple construction. Simple fishing fly.

I like it but I might add a couple of strands of krystal flash as a tail just to make it an upscale Woolly Worm.

It is a sort of "plane jane" pattern, but sometimes that's what it takes. I'll add some versions tyed with Krystal flash tail, to cover the bases.

That is a really lively looking bug. Is that a single feather palmered from eye to bend or is it two separate feathers, body and hackle? Sweet pattern.

Well done! A nice pattern that could be fished wet or with a little desiccant and a thinner hook, on the surface.
I like Bill's idea of Krystal flash.
Me, if I were to play with this pattern, I'd replace a pheasant tail fiber of two with another color. Starting with red.
