Stefan - Thank you for providing the translation of "purolohi kalastaja" screen name. It made me smile. "purolohi kalastaja" once posted a color combination he called a moldy plum. I liked the color combination and decided to play around with it a bit more. In the end, I came up with a few different variations of subsurface flies...the little soft hackle pattern shown above, and these two larger steelhead/salmon variations.

These larger patterns are more in line with a "pure salmon fisher".

I especially like the upper one. It might be due to the background but I don't think so.
