Wonderful video. Listening to the nature sounds transports one streamside.

Thank you for sharing.

geez. I'm dying to get on a stretch like this and for this wet weather to give us a break, but with a hurricane on the way, I'm looking at another couple weeks that seem to offer no relief. What a nice video.

dd, Howdy;

Beautiful, down right beautiful. Best sound track I've listened to in a long while. 8-) , very 8-) .

But I wonder about his coat and hat, bit on the bright side for such green spaces. Apparently, it
didn't slow the action...

Yes hank, seems as if some fish don't care about how you are dressed. Perhaps the wise guys have left the scene when he was still on the bank? I've seen that more than once, that some people get away with careless dressing. Maybe they would be even more successful in camo? Seriously, I think it's not only about how you dress but also about how you move.

I've seen several videos with this Luke Bannister rod builder and he is always dressed like that. Suppose there are streams where he would blank.

Actually from the fish's perspective, he blends in well if it is a cloudy day, with the cobble bank and as a tree trunk. I have found any natural color seems to be fine. Blaze orange...not so much.

dd, Howdy;

Perhaps his coat and cap are like the kepi blanc du Legion Etrangere,
started out khaki and just faded with exposure to the sun over the years
and he's not noticed?

hank, I see him as a white wool snob, in a good way. He didn't change the colour of the wool since it was good enough for the sheep. Might be sheep all around him?

Old hat, agree about orange, that is for fruit.

dd, Howdy;

I think your version holds merit. I still chuckle everytime I see a
flock of sheep, our friend Dubbn used to refer to them as
"Range maggots". :lol:

Hey dd, That was a real treat. Thanks for posting that. Had to show my daughter and grandson what a spider was. They are excited to start tying and fishing them.
