What I like from this week's tying

1st olive and ice with starling
2nd all turkey tail
3rd all partridge
4th pupa softy

olive and starling:
size 14 wet nymph fly hook
black thread
olive and UV ice dub blended
starling hackle

all turkey:
size 14 TMC nymph hook
camel thread
tips of small turkey tail feather, for the tail body and hackle

all partridge:
hook size 14 TMC nymph hook
blue dun thread
1 partridge feather wrapped loosely from back to front starting with the fluffy part

Pupa softy:
hook size 14 Daiichi scud hook
black thread
shuck= few stands sparkle poly yarn
pheasant tail for body
CDC puff
peacock herl
starling hackle

... and no better way to introduce yourself than with a couple ties. I like them all, but find the 4th one thoughtful and creative.
