Blue Flymf
Krok: 12-16
Kropp: harull färgad blå/ash silk
Ribbing: röd koppartråd med några varv som tag
Hackel: blue dun
Bindtråd: grå

Here is the pattern listing in English as well:

Blue Flymf
Hook: 12-16
Body: hare dubbing, colored blue, spun on ash silk
Ribbing: red copper wire, with a few turns to form a tag
Hackle: blue dun
Thread: gray silk

Thanks Bill. I couldn’t resist, after you mentioned tying this pattern.

The version above is tyed according to Gunnar’s recipe.

Experimental Side Note:
Try adding a touch of natural dun-color mole to the dubbing might tone down the blue a bit.

Okay, Ray. My first instinct after seeing your post at 7:30 this morning was to dash off to the tying room to see if I had the materials to dress this fly. No blue hare, but I do have some of Bill Bailey's dyed Kid Goat and Seal that are the perfect shade of blue. That is an impeccably dressed fly and a wonderful SBS.
