The score is now Llama 3 - Ray 1. I won't show you any of the ones where the llama bested me, but here is one where I wrestled it into submission (thanks to a lot of help from Bill & William).
I am convinced that William has a cruel sense of humor. The package he sent to me contained a simple note reading "Ray, Have a good time trying to tame the llama. -W" (the key word is "
trying")

I shall have to admit that I have not tried this Alpaca/silk wool mix
myself but it might be worth a try. The Alpaca is a smaller relative of the Llama
and when I saw that mention of a silk mix, it triggered a memory of silk mixed with a wool. Here is a source of Alpaca/silk wool, in black, grey, white, mid-brown and beige. I do not know how the white would take other dye colours.

Ray ~ I'd say you put some fine moves on that llama, 'cause the result is an instant classic. Exceptional!

great to see you stuck with it to get the stuff under control. I wasn't kidding in my initial post about fussing with the stuff. Not an easy material, but in a way, very satisfying to tame the llama.

Nicely done.
