Very nice looking fly. However, if that were a dyed Iron Blue hackle it would not have light tips.

Nice tie, Martin. I can attest to the frustrations of photographing starling. You never really get the image to match. Especially any blue is absorbed so you see contrast rather than tone. This would make a nice little pattern in about 3 sizes here.
