Snowshoe hare is a highly regarded tying material mostly because of its transluscence and bouyancy properties. It also takes dyes quite well. Because it floats so well, it is used more frequently in dry fly patterns I think, but that should also be a positive trait for a fly that is to be fished in the film. In any event, Rasevic, this is a well conceived and beautifully dressed pattern that should be an excellent fish-catcher.
