Skunk skins are available but they aren't cheap.

Upon reflection, though, you probably ought to have one.
If "hair of the dog" works, hair of the skunk ought to, also, don'cha think?

For those of you that have not tyed with skunk the under fur is very fine and dubs just great. The guard hair makes good tails and wet wings. Try it you'll like it.

I have used skunk fur quite a bit and highly recommend it. Absolutely beautiful stuff, and the tail fur makes an excellent substitute for polar bear fur. I wrote an article comparing the skunk and PB a while back.

Vicki, Howdy;
Reminds me of a time when I was helping a freind move from Va. Beach, Va. to Columbus, Oh.
(think they needed to have their head examined, 'nother story), anywho,... stopped at a store
to grab a case of Mooseheads (the Moose is loose!!!!!), put them in the far back of the van.
When I arrived at Columbus (12 hours later), the curtian that I'd hung across the window had
ended up on top of the case. All I could picture is a sad looking Moose (

) waveing 'bye-bye'
to Va. Beach
Allllllllllllllll the way to Ohio. It was during the winter after all.....
