Great post/ fly Ray,
I love the photo sequence. On the opposite end of the scale Morgan (my green cheek conure) often tries to give his approval by having a go at my flies. Cute photos, Jeff might be right about going barbless ;)

A beautiful pattern, Ray. Your telling of the thought process behind it and the tying tips supplied will make this an even more special "collector's item" for me.

Ray--

What Hank said--I suppose "Seal Prostate Specific Antigen might take this forum to a whole 'nother level.

At any rate, great looking fly...one to remember for the sulphurs no doubt.

Ray, I love this as your PMD, especially for our purposes around here. It's attractive and should get a welcomed response. Glad you could make use of the fur and thanks for the tips regarding its application. I have a very tough time, while others seem to have an affinity for all types of coarser dubbings. I should spend some time taming the dubbing as you have done, but for now, using the pre-spun block method gives me more control, and I seem to need the help. Beautifully done.

Nice!

I love the odd numbered hook size but, no FTD shuck yarn for the trailing shuck?? Don't tell the Dungeon master.

Great tie Ray, can't wait to see all the other PMD patterns in the swap.

Really cool tie Ray.
BUT, why are there no bald patches on the cat? Or were you careful just to photograph his/her good side?? :D ;)

Rodger - The cat in the photos is my parents cat. He is off limits.

My cat, however, is not. :D
