I was going to make that observation, but I'm glad you made it first. It's a great design and beautifully tied, but if it were going in my box, it'd be tied on a 12. Early in my tying efforts, when I fished the Catskills regularly, I tied a lot of 14s (along with 12s) for the Hendricksons. By the time the hatch had passed, the 14s were still freshly tied and the 12s were mostly gone.
