I fish many of my flies. But there are the special ones, that don't get fished. I save some for a shadow box. Or I trade with them. So far each time I tie a better Gray Ghost than what I have, I put it in a special box on my tying table. I also save the best of my original work, and it will not get fished, unless I tie a better one later. Then all of the ones that didn't make that top spot, get fished. I just started tying the Rangeley streamers 3.5-4 months ago maybe, seriously. But that is certainly not all I tie. My problem is I am a slow tyer, especially with streamers.
