I like your approach at duplicating what a pattern will look like when submerged. I am smoking some salmon this next week. I am going to take a few soft hackles and smear some fish slime on them and see if it makes any difference in the patterns air trapping qualities.
Do not expect photos. I could never duplicate your abilities at photography.
