Well, Mark (a very wise man), has made a single thread deletion.....he dumped the Teach the Kids thread...........so let that be a lesson we all remember...........i mean in terms of never forgetting how important is is to help out the younger generation..........and not just in fly fishing/tying.............in LIFE.
So, i've got a very limited amount of pics space to use now before it all becomes history in terms of posting pics here. i've decided that in the interest of (my), time saving (VERY important), i'll just post them at my (unlimited.....YES!!!!!) site.....and whoever cares to, can go there to seek a peek. Aint no big deal.............i've ridin' off into sunsets before..........gettin' rather good at it...........

now sing............iiiiiiiiiiiiii was born a ramblin' man..... :D

She just has more patience, and gets good pics most of the time. But she's just so busy......so i'll have to get back to doin' it i spose............. ;)

Flymph Shrimp.....krazy little thing i did a couple days ago.....just goofin'.......i used a couple locks off this little doll Misa has on her tyin' desk, for the wing/shell back/whatever you wanna call it......as i said the entire fly was just a goof. i've got tons of these silly leggs packages......(the kinna thing that's always in your freebee/goodies bag at a show)........and they just pile up around here.......so i decided to use some of it. So obviously don't take this fly very seriously.....i just posted it for a laugh. i titled it funny shrimp when i put it on the hard drive.....but Flymph Shrimp is MUCH better..... :D ;)

I'll bet that will look really good in the water, 'cause it reeks of shrimp just perched on that cork. And that is NOT an olefactory observation

Thass so funny Vicki.....when i brought it upstairs to show her, the second she saw it she started laughing, cause she "knew" exactly what i had done............ .....not to mention, anything on the tying desks are fair game. Her desk goes as far as half way (or to the middle) of the middle desk, and mine does the same from the other direction. And there's a meeting of the minds in that center chair desk..... :D Although so far, she's never tyed at the middle desk......because really she has no need to. i do Trout (etc.), flies there because "most" (other than what's stored all around the room), of (the close at hand), all those types of materials are at Misa's desk, and to half way in and on the center desk. It's kinna crazy, but there's only so much space and so much crap.............
Now guess what.........THE TOOLS CAME.......YES YES YES!!!!! a box full from Wasatch.....and you better believe how lucky your are that i forgot to take your package with me to the post office. i finished filling it early today and was going to mail it......but i'm glad i left it here. i've now put three Wasatch tools in there for you.....a Giant Oversized Whip Finisher.....more than double the size of a normal oversized Matterelli.....and a giant over size hackle pliers........also more than double a regular clip style.............and i think i put either a dubbing rake or a comb in there.....i forget which now. i was doin' the pirate who just found the treasure chest number.......... :P :P :P :P and addin' tools to our to-go kits, and to all three desks, and havin' a ball.
Ray, i'm sendin' you that dubbing twister i told you i would......and Wasatch DID put in a couple of those bobbin holders that are made for Peasalls........BOY THOSE PUPPIES are WAY Cool.......the tension on the arms is nice and tight, yet very smooth & easy when you wanna pull more out.........FANTASTIC. You talk about happier than a sissy in a boys camp.....OH YEAH! 8-)

Never thought of using silly legs as a tail. I'm going to try that out on some of my small mouth patterns, thanks

Mark - I sent out the flies in today's mail. You should get them by the end of the week. I wrapped the minnows flies between two layers of foam. Hopefully they will be in good shape when they arrive. The other flies are stuck on a bent piece of foam, with some tissue paper to keep things from moving around too much.

Thanks in advance for the dubbing twister. I will put it to good use and post the results. :D

Good goin' Ray.....Lawrence Finny says to tell you thankx as well. Your a "risen to the occassion fool Bor." My kinna guy! God bless you. You gonna dig the dubbing twister.....it's the two armed ball bearing type.....spins really smouvve.....thass
s-m-o-u-v-v-e. :D
Here's another recent fly i did a few days ago.....there's two feathers in the collar, and that bead is African i believe.....and if it isn't.....who cares...... i'm still callin' it Moroccan Garden..... ;) actually spelled it right this time.....

Fishhead, those are claws of a kind.....if you look at the fly from the rear you can see they are seperated......impossible to see from a side view.....either way, a Smallie be all over that like "White on Rice." 8-)
