Misako and i are going to be at the Dutch Fly Fair in May. So i hope we'll see you there. Misa will continue on from there, to Italy and Slovenia for the WFFC&CS, and i will come back to N.Y. for the Flymph Forum Rendezvous and the Mayfly Club gig after the Dutch Fly Fair. To long a story as to how it all unfolded.....but i've always wanted to do the Dutch Fly Fair.....REALLY looking forward to it. Do you know if Christina (Chevron Hackles), will be there? i'll have to shoot her an email. Thankx Ruard.....

i'll be very pleased to meet you too Ruard. Just so you and the others know.....i have not recieved an official invitation to tye. We are actually going over to help a friend with his booth.....help man the booth and all whatever else he wants/needs us to do. He's working very hard to be THE Tenkara dealer for Tenkara U.S.A. in Europe. And he's taking care of our lodging and everything.....so it's just a chance to go to the Dutch Fly Fair. i probably will tye at his booth, and maybe that'll get me an official invite to tye some other time.....who knows. Whatever happens, happens.....i don't much worry bout these things at this point. i know most of the tyers already and i just want to hang out and learn, and enjoy being on the lookie-lou side of the table.....it's been a while. Should be fun.....not to mention i took all my "Stuff" to England in 2009; and Ireland in 2010, and it's a pain on the plane and dealin' with customes anyway. This way i'll be able to shop til i drop, at my leisure.
i think our friend just feels like he may do well, if he has Misako there to sell her book and tye Tenkara flies in her hands at the booth, etc., etc.....i'm simply to well raised to refuse the opprotunity. Merry Christmas.....
