Dubbing is hares ear off the mask, mainly hares poll.
Hook was a tmc 9300 sz10
Thread wine coloured 6/0 uni
Hares fuard hair for the tail
French large gold oval tinsel for ribbing
Wingcase of turkey tail

Great looking fly. I've tied these but have yet to catch a fish on them

You're kidding? Back when I fished nymphs regularly, that's the one I would have chosen if I were limited to only one.

You're kidding? Back when I fished nymphs regularly, that's the one I would have chosen if I were limited to only one.
No my go to nymph is either a beaded or unweighted Pheasant tail. Always work for me:)
