Excellent! I am doubt most tiers would realize how difficult it is to tie that pattern and keep the wings tight, upright and in place. Is that your first attempt at tying that fly pattern?

Thanks. First time with this pattern but I had tied up some Grey Flag dries that use a similar wingWiFlyfisher wrote: I am doubt most tiers would realize how difficult it is to tie that pattern and keep the wings tight, upright and in place. Is that your first attempt at tying that fly pattern?

Took a few tries to get that one right, but the video does a great job explaining.

Re: McPhail's RA Green Peter
Scott, that is outstanding too!!!
Like I said you have to tie winged wets to really appreciate your winged wet fly patterns. Especially when the pattern has a hackle ribbed body underneath the wing and then hackle in front of the wing with a small thread head and keep the wing from splitting and set correctly.
